  16. on the creation of Captain America, Spiderman, the Incredible
  17. Hulk, the X-Men and many others; in Thousand Oaks, California.
  18. In the 1950s and '60s, Kirby helped refashion superheroes into
  19. the more human, more vulnerable, more neurotic characters we
  20. know and love today. His bold drawings and layouts have influenced
  21. two-generations-and-counting of younger artists.
